FALKO - Medical Media Vision

FALKO is the innovative HMD installed on a dentist’s helmet with flip-up system - studied and designed by Tecnomed Italia for the healtcare.
FALKO starts with goal: eliminate the postural problems encountered in the medical practice.
FALKO manages and displays video information from any dignostic imaging systemsuch as: Surgical lights with built-in camera, microscopes, Implant navigators, Multi-parameter monitor etc ...
FALKO’s wireless transmission and reception system supports an HDMI video signal HD.
No IP setting is required, no internet network is needed.
The FALKO visor is able to switch between the two video sources, view them simultaneously in PIP smaller inset window or side-by-side function.
Telementoring function enables you to share the visor's view while operating, also if directly adding the optional microcamera on the visor, it is possible to share a surgeon. These visual data can be shared with a maximum of 300 people for telementoring, educational ecc...
With FALKO connected to a video system and the active PIP function, the surgeon does not have to look away from the surgical site, unlike with common imaging techniques.
With a second visor connected (FALKO wired version) to FALKONNECT worn by the other staff member, an assistant for example, and the active PIP function, it is finally possible to have another point of view.
FALKO can become a collaborative, educational and augmented and enhanced reality application by sharing the same point of view who wear it both locally or remotely.
Direct downward vision without obstacles: the surgeon can freely look down while wearing FALKO for an unrestricted view of their hands and the immediate operating site, allowing also an easy and short learning curve. FALKO doesn't change the way of working but it does change the quality of it.
