Note from Dr. Kim:
These new retractors are specially-designed. The thin serrated blades efficiently hold the tissue atraumatically. The blades are angled left and right 15 degrees. When doing surgery the patients’ chins are NOT straight – they are always tilted to right or left slightly. To compensate for this defect, the newly designed retractors with 15 degree angles will anchor the retractors at the correct level.
